Featuring the same patented interferometry processing and advanced antenna design as our TCAS II/ACAS II systems, the CAS
66A provides the best direction and bearing accuracy in its class. This information is provided through a range of display and
control options, from a dedicated flat-panel color traffic advisory/vertical speed indicator (TA/VSI) with bezel-mounted
controls, to a weather radar, multifunction display (MFD) or Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) interface with a separate control panel. To provide the greatest margin of safety, the TSO's CAS 66A can interrogate the ATC transponders of up to 30 surrounding aircraft and display their positions. It offers crew-selectable
ranges of 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 nautical miles. Selectable altitude coverage give you three perspectives on traffic, including
normal view, an upward view and a downward view There's even a feature that shows an intruder's flight level, instead of
just his altitude relative to your own aircraft. This system, as priced, includes a TPU 66A TCAS I Processor, two ANT 67A flat
antennas and a CP 66B control panel.
